Roxio today released a downloadable update to its best-selling suite that will immediately enable DVD Double Layer (DL) data burning capabilities and allow consumers to nearly double the amount of valuable personal data they can record to a single DVD +R DL disc.

Creator Classic: Data backup and audio disc creation component enables consumers to store up to 8.5 GB of data on a single
DVD disc, which could include important documents and files such as users' email database, spreadsheets, Word documents, or an estimat ed 2000 songs.
Drag-to-Disc: Packet-writing utility allows consumers to burn directly to a double layer DVD disc as simply and conveniently
as dragging and dropping files over a desktop disc icon.
Disc Copier: Component for creating backup copies of CDs and DVDs will be enhanced in the near term to allow consumers to create
near identical backups of non-encrypted dual-layer DVD movies.
DVD Builder: Authoring component for creating professional-looking DVDs, VCDs, and SVCDs of slideshows, movies, or recorded TV
shows, will be releas ed in the near future to permit consumers to create DVDs with up to 4 hours of DVD-quality video.
