I/Omagic Selects Roxio Software for Latest Optical Storage Combo Drive
I/OMagic's 'MediaStation Combo' to Feature Roxio Easy CD & DVD Creator 6 Basic and DVDMax Software
Santa Ana, California - (July 15, 2003) - I/OMagic Corporation (OTCBB: IOMG), a leading developer and marketer of data storage and digital entertainment devices, announced today that it has signed an agreement with Roxio, Inc. (NASDAQ: ROXI), The Digital Media Company®, to include Easy CD & DVD Creator® 6 Basic and DVDMax™ software in the new I/OMagic "MediaStation Combo" drive. The MediaStation Combo is a multi-function 48x24x48 external USB 2.0 CD-RW/16x DVD-ROM plus 7-n-1 Media Card Reader.

The MediaStation Combo is the latest edition to I/OMagic's family of MediaStation products. The ultimate in space-saving devices,
the MediaStation Combo allows users to watch DVDs, burn a CD or
transfer digital camera media to a PC or notebook from one source.
This external USB 2.0 combo drive writes CD-R at 48x, CD-RW at 24x
and reads CDs at 48x speed. It also features three-way adjustable
lighting system and a USB 1.1 card reader that reads seven types
of media including Compact Flash (CF), Smart Media (SM), Memory
Stick (MS), Memory Stick Pro, Secure Digital (SD), Multimedia (MMC),
and IBM Micro Drive.
Roxio's Easy CD & DVD Creator 6 is the only PC-based integrated
digital media suite that offers consumers feature-rich applications
to capture, edit, manage and burn photos, videos, music and data
onto CD or DVD. The product's new interface empowers users of all
skill levels to create, copy and customize CDs and DVDs. In addition,
consumers can also enjoy the Roxio DVDMax Player's video and audio
capabilities, providing users with a great experience when watching
DVDs, VCDs and SVCDs.
The MediaStation Combo has an MSRP of $199.99 and is being launched
through Target stores.
