Roxio Names Timothy Corcoran Vice President of Worldwide Retail Sales

Santa Clara, California - (October 30, 2002) - Roxio, Inc. (Nasdaq: ROXI), the Digital Media Company®, provider of the best selling digital media software in the world, announced today that Timothy Corcoran has been promoted to vice president of worldwide retail sales. Mr. Corcoran was formerly director of sales for Roxio, where he was responsible for both OEM and retail sales in the U.S.

Prior to joining Roxio, in May 2001, Mr. Corcoran spent four years
at Adaptec, Inc., where he held senior sales positions and was responsible
for strategic accounts. Mr. Corcoran also held regional and national
sales management positions with Wells Electronics, Inc. and Dynavision.
