Roxio Introduces Best Selling Brands, Easy CD Creator and PhotoSuite, As Starter Kit Products

(Nasdaq: ROXI), the Digital Media Company®, provider of the best selling digital media software in the world, today announced its award-winning digital media software brands, Easy CD Creator and PhotoSuite, will be available this Fall as Starter Kits for retail mass merchant stores including Target and Wal-Mart.
The Easy CD Creator and PhotoSuite Starter Kits are well suited for the mass merchant retail channel, offering consumers easy-to-use software to begin working with and enjoying their digital music, photos and video. Also included with Roxio's Starter Kits are promotional with a suggested retail value of over $100 including Roxio's digital subscription services Roxio-Snapfish for photo, Roxio-Pressplay for music, and Roxio-Audible.com for spoken word as well as, free CDs, CD labels, and other digital media materials that immediately
enable consumers to start experiencing the fun of digital media.
Along with the Starter Kit versions, Roxio will also offer mass
merchants full-featured platinum versions of these products. By
further expanding the breadth of Roxio's retail distribution, the
company expects to further fuel the growing usage of digital media
among consumers while also increasing awareness of the Roxio brand.
Roxio has a complete line of digital media software products for
photo, video and audio available at retail for the upcoming holiday
season. Roxio will release new versions of its flagship CD recording
and photo editing products in the first calendar quarter of 2003,
a time when large numbers of consumers typically purchase or upgrade
following holiday sales of PC software and hardware.
