Roxio Completes Spin-Off From Adaptec Begins Trading on Nasdaq National Market
Milpitas, Calif., May 14, 2001 - Roxio, Inc. (Nasdaq: ROXI), the Digital Media Company, announced today that its spin-off from Adaptec, Inc. (Nasdaq:ADPT) is now complete and that regular way trading of its common stock will begin today on the Nasdaq National Market under the ticker symbol "ROXI." President and Chief Executive Officer Chris Gorog is expected to commemorate Roxio's first day of trading in a special ceremony at market open today at Nasdaq headquarters in New York. Roxio has also been added to the S&P SmallCap 600 Index.
